What is an Anonymous Access licence?

With an Anonymous Access licence, you purchase access for a number of concurrent users. If your licence is for 25 learners and 25 people are already using the program, the 26th person will see a message that the licence is currently full. As soon as one person finishes, a licence slot becomes free.

In an Anonymous Access licence, no progress is reported and all learners are anonymous.

What is a Learner Tracking licence?

With a Learner Tracking licence, you purchase access for a number of named learners whose progress will be stored in the database. Any of these named learners can run the program at any time.

All progress is stored and learners must log in to the program to start.

I have 12 computers. Do I have to buy a 20-computer licence?

It is obviously frustrating to have to buy a licence size which is significantly in excess of the number of computers you have. Some publishers have a greater number of licences (eg in the example above, a 12-computer licence); others are flexible about tailoring the licence to your computer setup, particularly if it is a large licence. Some publishers are less flexible. Please email Clarity stating the program and the licence size.
