How do I get access to Road to IELTS Online?
Once you have successfully registered for your IELTS test with the British Council, you will receive two access codes to log in to the materials.
Please note: We are currently changing access to the online system. There are two different ways to access the material depending on the type of access data you receive:
I. If you received your access data as a 12-digit Login ID and Password
(e.g. 1280-8666-1111 and Password 5B847524):
Go to the login screen here: www.ieltspractice.com/Clarity/RoadToIELTS/login.php
Enter your Login ID (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) and Password. On the first screen, enter your full name, create a new password, enter your email address, select the date of your IELTS test and then click the ‘Submit’ button. Please note that when trying to access the system after you have logged out, you will have to enter your Login ID (which always remains the same) and the new password you created. Your login details will expire one week after your test date.
If you forget your password, go to the login screen above, click on the ‘Forgot your password?’ link and your password will be sent to you by e-mail.
II. If you received your access data as an IELTS Reference Number
(e.g. GR708-934-5122) in combination with your own email address:
Go to the login screen here: ielts.britishcouncil.org/R2IHome.aspx
Enter your access data as specified in your confirmation email. You will then be able to access the materials directly and work through the lessons. You can exit the system and log back in again as many times as you want. Your login details will expire one week after your test date.
